Peer Pressure 2.0
So here I am, trying out tumblr. Even though I fall squarely into the Web 2.0 generation, there’s an interesting divide; while Twittering your every thought and action seems like the domain of the youth, I only have 4 or 5 Twitter friends my age. Now here I am on tumblr, which seems like something my generation would do, but again, it seems to be dominated by people who are not, like me, in college. Maybe it’s because we used Facebook so much that we don’t have time to update anything else… I don’t know.
But after the team at FM78.tv told me it was time to get on here, I caved, so here I am.
Maybe this is the beginning of something new and beautiful. Or maybe it’s just more text under my name to be thrown out on the web, ignored peacefully, and possibly brought up 20 years from now when I run for political office. Who knows. But at least I can say I tried…
